The Administration of the Royal Grenada Police Force is in the process of Re-structuring the payment of Special Proficiency Allowance which is paid to Police officers who possess special skills and who use this specialize skills in a constant and continuous way to the benefit of the Royal Grenada Police Force.

As a result of this restructuring the payment of this allowance was suspended at the end of May.

 The RGPF Administration is presently reviewing the allowance.

Some Police officers were affected as a result of this suspension, however all efforts are being made to re-instate the allowance at the end of June 2009.
