Search for Plane to Grenada suspended
The U.S. Coast Guard has suspended its search for two men who vanished in a small plane near the Bahamas last week.
WICB pays tribute to Grayson Shillingford
The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) has paid tribute to former Dominica, Windward Islands, Combined Islands and West Indies fast bowler Grayson Shillingford, who died on Wednesday. He was 65 years old.
Grayson Shillingford dies aged 65
Grayson Shillingford, the former West Indies fast bowler who played seven Tests between 1969 and 1972, has died aged 65 of cancer. Shillingford had been receiving treatment in Canada before returning to his native Dominica a month ago. He succumbed to the illness in Salisbury, in the country’s west coast, early on Wednesday morning.
Civil rights attorney and politician Percy Sutton has died
The son of a slave, Sutton first moved to New York City after serving with the Tuskegee Airmen in World War II.
